Mermaid finds a new home

I had a vision of what I wanted to paint when I started this 24×48″ mermaid painting. Sometimes, the process goes more smoothly than other times where I struggle and re-evaluate constantly. ” Finding a Black Pearl” was totally made up and poured out onto the canvas in a few days. Then the strangest thing happened…it was sold the first day I posted a photo of it, before the varnish was even dry. The collector fell in love and is waiting to install  after framing in her home when her remodeling is complete.

I am so thankful and thrilled.
